Cancer Crossroads
Is a quarterly class designed to help cancer patients manage their situation. Valuable information is provided to steer patients in the right direction on everything from nutrition to insurance to finance. This class is open to all patients at any stage of their cancer experience – from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship. Cancer Crossroad sessions are facilitated by social workers and nutritionists who specialize in oncology.
Helping to navigate through the healthcare system

Guidance on nutrition before, during and after treatment

Your Inner Hero: Life After Cancer Treatment & Beyond
is an inspiring and informative new education class aimed at serving cancer patients who are entering the next phase of their lives after chemotherapy. The class meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm, during which members of the CCCR team interact with patients to discuss a variety of topics, including follow-up care, managing physical changes following chemotherapy, maintaining social and work relationships, and much more.
The class takes place in the boardroom of the Center for Cancer Care & Research. The program is free of charge, but seating is limited. Please RSVP by calling 863-603-4770.
We welcome and encourage your attendance at Conquering Chemotherapy. This class is held every Monday from 9:30 am - 11:00 am and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm in the Center for Cancer Care & Research Board Room. Come and discover that you can make a difference in controlling these common cancer treatment symptoms
